Make a traditional pine candle box, with rabbeted and nailed corner joints, a beveled bottom, and a sliding lid with a carved finger pull.
Candle boxes were used in early New England households to protect candles, but this traditional design has evolved into a functional and beautiful storage box that can hold all kinds of keepsakes.
Build confidence using basic hand tools, and gain practical experience in the woodshop, while making your own traditional candle box.
